Love can be studied
We treat love as a measurable, teachable human capacity — modelled, instrumented and tested with the same rigour any science demands.
About Love and Bliss
Love and Bliss (LAB) is the parent organisation. We study how love is lived and how bliss is cultivated — then carry it the whole way, from research idea to published paper to practice in real communities.

Our mission
Love and Bliss develops, tests and shares psycho-spiritual approaches to flourishing. Our founding module, the Bliss Enhancement Programme, is a twelve-week intervention now running as a 100-participant pilot study.
Around it we operate a study register, a research ethics committee, an open repository, a press and a peer-reviewed journal — all sharing a single governance, security, audit and review foundation. One organisation, one governed path, one standard of care.
We treat love as a measurable, teachable human capacity — modelled, instrumented and tested with the same rigour any science demands.
Flourishing is not luck. It grows through practice, reflection and community, which is exactly what our programmes are built to teach.
Findings that stay behind a paywall change nothing. We publish openly, with permanent identifiers, so others can build on the work.
What we oversee
Each entity is a doorway into the same mission, and each inherits the same governance, ethics and open-science commitments.

Trust is the condition of this work. These four commitments are built into the platform itself, not left to good intentions.
Every study is submitted section by section, risk-tiered, and reviewed by conflict-checked reviewers before a committee decision is recorded.
Research data is pseudonymised. Facilitators never see assessment scores, and any participant may withdraw at any point without giving a reason.
Governance decisions are written to a hash-chained audit trail, so approvals and certificates can still be verified years later.
Outputs and open datasets are published with DOIs and citation metadata, so findings can be reused, cited and credited properly.
